The pathway begins with the Jivamukti Immersion to inspire your journey, then continues to the 75HR Foundational Course, focused on the Spiritual Warrior class and introducing key aspects of teaching Jivamukti Yoga.
After your test class, you can start teaching Spiritual Warrior! The next step is the renowned 300HR Teacher Training - after which you can call yourself a Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher.
We don't stop there, we expect our Teachers to keep studying, so they can best serve their students on their path to enlightenment and offer exceptional experiences.
We offer the 500HR Jivamukti Teacher Apprenticeship Program (also called JTAP, where you are guided individually by a mentor) as well as an Advanced Board Exam, our top level of certification, offering the opportunity to position yourself as a leader in the Jivamukti Yoga community as well as the Yoga community worldwide.

This rigorous program was developed and codified by Sharon Gannon and David Life (founders of Jivamukti) and is now facilitated by leading Global Senior Jivamukti Yoga Teachers. Jivamukti Yoga® Teacher Training is considered to be the most comprehensive yoga training course available.
It attracts students from around the world and produces empowered, informed and confident yoga teachers. The training teaches you to incorporate asana, chanting, music, meditation, activism and scriptural study into a challenging practice underpinned by a quest for enlightenment.
Jivamukti Yoga’s® focus on a non-dualistic view of life (the interconnectedness of all) awakens in the practitioner not only the need to protect the environment and all the animals and plants that share the planet with us, but also teaches skills to confidently achieve those goals for oneself as well as lead others to live in harmony with the planet.
In 2020, forces collided and created the opportunity to take the JYTT programs online, offering the chance to become a Jivamukti Yoga Teacher to students around the world who were not able to take the residential intensive, for one reason or another. Our team has spent countless hours developing an immersive learning experience which provides an experience of "being there" - just ask our former students.
